“I believe the current health care paradigm needs a new approach, to be more integrative and wholistic to take into consideration the whole person, body, mind, emotional and environmental factors.”
I grew up in Paris from an African-Congolese heritage, I moved to London to become a chef which led me to an isolated life due to my poor language skills and socially excluding work. The intensively demanding kitchen work led me to experience several of health issues. I suffered from chronic digestives issues such as acid reflux and constipation. I was also developing eczema and rashes which led by long periods of depressions and anxieties.
A work colleague recommended to see a nutritional therapist. She helped me identify root causes so she could adapt and supplement my diet to support my nutritional deficiencies. I also had acupuncture and took herbal medicine. As my condition greatly improved, I continued to learn more about natural health, nutrition and herbs and gradually changed to an organic plant based diet, which brought me further health benefits.
I wanted to help other people suffering with similar issues who also need these tools. I decided to re-train, to deepen my knowledge of nutrition and naturopathic therapies, so I could specialise in everything related to the gut, mental health and help people reconnect with natural healing foods.
I believe the current health care paradigm needs a new approach, to be more integrative and wholistic to take into consideration the whole person, body, mind, emotional and environmental factors.
I am keen to play a part in this paradigm shift and have chosen to dedicate myself to this emerging Health Revolution!
